International martial arts superstar Donnie Yen has announced his next project: a return to the gritty Hong Kong police thrillers that defined his early career. Yen will not only star but also direct the yet-to-be-titled film.
Promising 'practical effects and bone-crunching choreography,' Yen aims to recapture the visceral energy of classic 90s action cinema. He is currently scouting locations in Kowloon and assembling a team of veteran stunt coordinators.
